Privacy policy
Effective 26 October 2026
Qaction is operated by Wong Wai Cheong. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].
What Qaction processes
Your account can contain your email address, name, language, time zone, sign-in identifiers and device sessions. Passwords are stored as hashes. Connected-service credentials are used to maintain the connections you authorize.
When you use AI, Qaction processes your request and the material you provide: selected or nearby text, copied messages, pasted screenshots, chat turns and relevant saved memory or records. Built-in features store the notes, reminders, files, contacts, sales documents, lists and other items you create.
The iPhone keyboard does not record every keystroke or all conversations in other apps. Optional Send-key history saves a draft only when you enable recording and Qaction can capture the whole draft. It does not establish that a message was delivered. Follow-up suggestions are a separate option; they use saved Send-key records to suggest tasks for your review.
AI processing and your choice
The iPhone app asks for permission before sending AI requests. You can decline and continue ordinary typing and manual features. You can turn AI data sharing off in Settings. Permission on that iPhone resets when its paired account or server changes. Enabling keyboard Full Access is a separate iOS setting and does not replace this AI permission.
AI requests are sent to Qaction's hosted service and third-party AI services. Qaction uses OpenRouter and configured model providers, including Anthropic or DeepSeek depending on the service configuration and region. Relevant memory, history or connected-service results can be included when needed for the request. These services' own privacy and retention terms also apply. See OpenRouter's privacy policy, Anthropic's privacy information and DeepSeek's privacy policy. Avoid submitting information you are not entitled to share.
Qaction does not save screenshot image payloads in AI request history or background task records. The text of your request and resulting answer can remain in your account history. Processing providers may have different retention practices.
Voice, files and connected services
Voice typing uses Apple's speech recognition, on-device when supported and otherwise subject to Apple's speech permissions and services. Qaction does not save voice recordings. A voice session keeps the microphone active until it is closed or its idle limit is reached; the app shows the voice session while enabled.
Files use the service's configured object storage. Email delivery, video meetings, payments and connected applications use the provider you select when those services are available. Authorizing a connection lets Qaction perform the actions you request; disconnect it in Accounts to stop future access. We do not send a prepared IM message on your behalf.
Sharing links
A public Qaction link gives its holder access to the shared content. A per-person checklist or customer document link is also a bearer link: keep it with its intended recipient. Audience responses and activity are visible to the owner as described on that feature. You can expire or revoke supported links in Made by Qaction. Share pages may show their creator's referral code or chosen display brand.
Service records and purposes
We process data to operate your account, answer requests, carry out requested actions, sync your items, deliver enabled reminders, secure the service and diagnose failures. Operational records can contain account and request identifiers, time, status, model and tool usage, costs and errors. Keyboard timing metrics do not contain message text. Qaction does not use keyboard content for targeted advertising.
The service uses necessary sign-in, security and referral cookies. Third-party websites and providers that you open or authorize have their own policies. Data can be processed outside your country where Qaction's hosting or selected providers operate.
Retention, export and deletion
Account content is kept while you use the account unless you delete individual items or the account. Use Profile, password & data to export supported account data, and Account → Delete account to remove your live account. Account deletion revokes its sessions and removes its live account records; file deletion can finish through a background queue.
Deletion from the live service does not instantly erase backup copies, operational logs or records independently retained by a connected or processing provider. Limited records may be kept for security, abuse prevention, legal obligations or dispute resolution. Contact [email protected] to ask about access, correction, deletion or the retention of a particular record. We do not promise a fixed retention period for third-party providers.
Children and changes
Qaction is a general productivity service and is not designed for children under 13. Do not submit children's personal information without appropriate authority. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data.
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies this version. Material changes to AI sharing on iPhone will require renewed permission.
